Saturday at the Museum

I have been so blessed and feel like the Lord has been watching over me ever since we got here to this incredibly hot desert. Getting into this apartment was a miracle. It turned out wonderful. Evan jumps into the pool every other day the second he gets home from school. We are so close to the mall, which keeps me sane, air conditioned, entertained, and there is a great play place for Joshua to play. Joshua loves playing in the pool and it gets me out of the house and cooled down. This apartment is in a wonderful ward where we feel so welcome and loved. A sweet Sister gave me a hug in Relief Society and said how happy she was to see me (I had a migraine and missed RF the week before). We are just so excited to be where we are. AND the biggest blessing of all are friends. I'm not the most outgoing and "brave" social butterfly but I've made some awesome friends. We get together 2 to 3 times a week and talk for hours. Chellese and Kavik (8 months old) live here in our complex. We go to baby singing time at the Library every Tuesday. We also go the pool 2 to 3 times a week with our babies and other student wives in the ward. Tara and Ethan (almost 2) are our other friends. Ethan gets a little mad when he plays with Joshua because Joshua loves to touch everything no matter who's holding it. None the less we always have so much fun getting together for our play dates. Our poor boys are prunes by the time we get tired of being in the pool after a couple hours. Anyways, as you might have guessed Chellese and Tara are the "Evan wives". I think it was meant to be that Evan met the other 2 Evan's on the first day of class. We all get along so well. Last Saturday the wives dragged our husband's and boys to the Scottsdale Contemporary Art Musuem. What a hoot....   We also played at a spash pad on the way home. After lunch at Zupas of course. Delish!

  1. It's so good to hear updates from AZ. I'm glad you have some fun people to hang out with, it makes all the difference! These pictures are so fun too. My favorite is Josh getting splashed in a fountain...his face is hilarious, it makes me laugh out loud.
